Moving Tactics, the leading South African Digital Signage solutions company, has appointed five new staff in 2015 and all of them are women. These strong professional women have brought added efficiency, new ideas and increased chutzpah to the national team. Jenna Steyn, Amber Stodel, Bridgette Rohan and Claire Wentzel have joined the Cape Town office and the Johannesburg team welcomes Shanee Smart.

Jenna Steyn, originally from Johannesburg, has a marketing qualification and has spent close to ten years in the advertising industry. In 2013, she joined Sauce Advertising where she managed the Steers account, and it was in this role that she regularly got to work with Moving Tactics in a professional capacity.
In January this year, Jenna joined Moving Tactics’ Cape Town office as Account Executive. “I am excited about this new challenge and looking forward to offering great client service,” says Jenna. She is keen to become more outdoorsy in beautiful Cape Town, but also enjoys reading a good book, and spending time with family and friends.

Amber Stodel joins Moving Tactics Digital Impact as the division’s Personal Assistant. Amber grew up in Cape Town and attended Rustenburg Girls. Obtaining academic colours in 2011 and 2012, she went on to study Art Direction for a year at Vega Brand Communications School. Having worked in the modelling industry since a child, she joined D&A Model Management and The Model Company as a Booker’s Assistant.
Amber would like to further her studies, delving into politics and education, having already joined the DA Youth League. She thoroughly enjoys being an integral part of her community.

Bridgette Rohan, grew up and completed her studies in Durban, after which she used her gap year to travel to America where she au-paired and travelled. She has worked in an administrative capacity in the education and wholesale hardware industries. Bridgette joins the Moving Tactics Cape Town team as PA/Admin Assistant where she is eagerly looking forward to a new adventure in the world of digital signage and making a difference in her role.

Claire Wentzel’s initiative and drive has stood her in good stead in her career. Without any formal tertiary education, she has progressed from receptionist to production assistant to managing traffic in an advertising agency before leaving to work in Dubai as HOD in her field of expertise and has now been appointed as Traffic Manager at Moving Tactics. “My hope is to identify best practice in efficiency of systems to ensure the smooth flow of work. As I have always considered myself a creative individual, I am very passionate about the industry and the evolving way in which people communicate,” says Claire. In her spare time, she loves house music and production, as well as dancing and writing poetry.

Shanee Smart joined the Johannesburg team in February 2015 as National Network Manager – Clicks. She has a wealth of experience gained from a career in traditional media, spanning 15 years. After two years in financial publishing, Shanee moved to Cape Town in 2002 where she managed the coastal sales portfolios and teams for SA Home Owner, Tuis and Avocado magazines. By 2010, she was back in JHB as Sales and Marketing Director for a boutique publisher specialising in property; and in 2012, she joined Associated Media. Her experience includes all traditional media including print, digital and experiential. Shanee is passionate about media and looks forward to extending her experience to the exciting and growing digital retail industry. Shanee also has an intense passion for running. Her motto is, “Impossible is nothing”.

We wish Jenna, Amber, Bridgette, Claire and Shanee all the best in their new positions.
