Moving Tactics Digital Impact, the leading South African digital signage solutions company, partnered with participating agencies Posterscope, Isobar and media owners, Ad Outpost, to deliver an innovative and creative animated projection experience at the recent adidas Originals Infinite Possibilities Block Party at AREA3 in Johannesburg’s Maboneng Precint.
Featuring a red-hot DJ line-up with more than 10 artists mixing it up on the decks, the iconic ZX Flux sneaker remained centre stage as media moguls, fashionistas and die hard sneaker fans braced themselves for an evening of edgy projections and visual stimulation to accompany the party vibe.
The striking 5 x 7 metre digitally animated displays projected onto outdoor billboards involved combining a print and digital creative where the various adidas Colourways were carefully projected over a printed graphic. Each of the Colourway transitions were beautifully blended together with customised animated video effects that were put together by the Moving Tactics’ motion graphics team.
Andy Higginbotham, Creative Director at Moving Tactics Digital Impact, says, “It was an amazing experience to partner with such creative and dynamic teams to produce an edgy, fun and technically inventive projection that really captured the feel and culture of the adidas brand”.
