A few months ago I wrote about all of our “new” appointments and new business developments, and now, four months later we have yet more great news to share. We have recently acquired the reseller rights of X2O and also built a world class team to support it by introducing new faces to the Moving Tactics team.

We are extremely excited to announce that Moving Tactics has become the reseller of the X2O Media’s XPresenter Platform across the African continent. For those of you who don’t know, X2O is one of the world’s leading digital media platforms and is developed in HTML5 which allows for quick, easy and effective digital signage development. X2O is compliant with many of the top ERP solutions such as SAP, Oracle and Microsoft Sharepoint and also includes integration into touch screens, social media and various other applications.

X2O can be used as either a cloud-based solution or built into an enterprise environment, allowing any business to configure the platform for corporate communications to retail digital signage and including, digital menu boards. The platform enables users to communicate key messages in real time to target consumers via a range of digital devices, whether they are digital screens, interactive kiosks, tablets or smartphones – all from one solution.

Moving Tactics has been piloting X2O within various industry sectors, ranging from Quick Service Restaurants that link the POS database information to the digital menu boards, to Retail Stores that flight day-parted content and in-store music for specific times of the day.

Due to our rapid growth, Moving Tactics is delighted to announce the arrival of five new employees.  In June, Lauren Lyons joined as Traffic Manager, who has a pivotal role in developing and managing the flow of content from client to display.

Kim Lynch, the new X2O Content Manager monitors the daily network management of all new networks and ensures that we deliver the right message to the right person at the right time.

Leigh Lanham has taken over the role of the Executive Co-ordinator and ensures that the diary of Chris Day and Kevin Bierman are managed efficiently. She also co-ordinates our Corporate Public Relations efforts and manages the Social Media and Website updates and developments as well as organising company events and functions.

As of July, we also welcomed Ese Alofoje, Technical Assistant to Wesley Johnston, Head of our Technical Department. Ese ensures there is a smooth flow of the day to day running of the Moving Tactics environment and assists in developing technical infrastructure and change control internally and for our clients.

Jamie Hendriks has also joined as an Assistant Technician to bolster our team in Cape Town, ensuring our top quality consistent service delivery.

With all the excitement, I should not forget to mention our proud Johannesburg office that recently relocated to the Metropolitan Office Park in Rivonia. Willem van Bosch, X2O Solutions and Project Manager whom also recently joined us as, will among his many responsibilities manage the office with the assistance of another new addition, Personal Assistant and Project Administrator Elisma Uys.

We also welcome our new Installer to our Johannesburg Offices, Ailwei Piet Mahadulula who will undoubtedly add immense support to our National Installation Manager Roshan Mahraj.

It is a great year for expansion and we can already feel the positive impact with the new faces in our business and the cumulative interest shown in our new platform.
